The sales floor has a sales counter where you scan your market card (which is the payment) and the ladies will issue you with receipts for your stock. Each commodity will have it's own slip, so that you may present this slip to the staff upon collection. (No collection is allowed without this slip)
Please note that you are responsible for the safekeeping of your slips, if you have lost your slips before collecting your stock, we will not be able to assist you.
Our agency has hysters to assist with getting purchased stock from our floor to vehicles in the loading bay. This service is reserved for buyers who buy whole pallets of stock.
If you are buying in smaller quantities, there are informal porters awaiting instruction from anyone who is willing to pay them for their efforts. They will collect and load your stock for you.
The sales agencies operate independently from the municipal staff. Please visit their website at https://www.buffalocitymetro.gov.za for more information.
